BACH & BEYOND:
An Independent Study Course in Flower Essence Therapy
(Approved for 19 CEUs, National Ayurvedic Medical Association)
In the 1920's and 30's, Dr. Edward Bach, a leading English physician and bacteriologist, turned his back on his cutting-edge vaccine research and on the orthodox medicine of his day and lent his every effort to developing a natural, plant-based system of healing so simple and straight-forward as to be utilizable by all, physician and lay- person alike.
Dr. Bach formulated 38 plant essences, over the course of a decade, using a unique method of extraction and potentization. His method - which employs one or more of the remedies on the basis of mental and emotional status, rather than disease symptoms - is used with startling success around the world today by physicians, nurses, psychotherapists, health educators, social workers, and parents.
The Bach Flower remedies are an excellent complementary modality to existing wellness practices, as are the many systems of flower essence therapy evolved since the time of Dr. Bach’s life and work. This is not merely an introduction, but an in-depth course in the Bach method in healing both human and animal clients. Participants in this course will be prepared to utilize the remedies for themselves, their families, friends and clients, and will have the opportunity to compound several custom formulas, including one utilizing their astrological birth chart.
